Weekly Events
UWCA hosts weekly meetings designed to help members build consulting knowledge, develop professional skills, and strengthen industry connections. Members participate in speaker panels, UWCA-only firm events, and interview preparation workshops, while also engaging in discussions on current events and industry trends. Beyond professional development, these meetings create a consistent space for members to connect, share ideas, and learn from one another.
PIVOT New Member Training
PIVOT is UWCA’s quarter-long training program for new members. PIVOT mentees are matched up with an upperclassman mentor in groups of 3-4, where they undergo 7 weeks of workshops, meetings, and assignments. Each week, PIVOT mentees learn and apply new skills such as using PowerPoint effectively or creating a comprehensive financial model. PIVOT culminates in a case competition where new members celebrate their new skills and all their hard work in front of the club and Foster faculty.

Client Engagements
Every quarter (even during the summer!), UWCA hosts 3-5 client engagements. Working on a 4-5 person team, members spend 10 weeks interfacing directly with a client to solve diverse problems. Engagements help our members get a taste of real-world consulting while gaining professional experiences that set them apart during recruiting season. We are proud to work with clients such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Salesforce, Google, and Costco.
ACE The Interview
ACE is a 10-week preparation program in the spring for students interested in recruiting for consulting internships and full-time roles. Students will be paired up with a peer buddy and upperclassman mentor who will help conduct mock interviews and provide valuable feedback. Through interview workshops, speaker panels, and proprietary resources, students will be ready to ACE consulting interviews.
Accenture Case Competition
Every Winter quarter, UWCA collaborates with Accenture and other on-campus consulting clubs to host the UNIFY Case Competition. The competition brings students together to tackle real-world business challenges, develop strategic recommendations, and present their solutions to Accenture leadership. UNIFY also provides an opportunity for students across campus to collaborate, build consulting skills, and connect with industry professionals.
